Melbourne, Australia – Socialsuite a global leader in impact measurement software today announced the launch of its Impact Investing Solution aligned with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
The Socialsuite Impact Investing solution provides Banks, Superannuation / Pension Funds, Foundations, Governments and impact investors with a technology platform to measure and report the impact of their investments aligned with the UN SDGs.
After extensive consultation with the sector, Socialsuite has identified that a gap exists in the market for a technology platform that allows organisations to map and measure their investment frameworks against globally renown impact measurement standards such as the UN SDGs.
Socialsuite’s solution will not only enable organisations to map their investments against relevant SDGs, but it also provides a data collection platform that allows organisations to define and collect data for their SDG metrics, and then generate intuitive dashboards and reports that showcase the size of impact against each SDG area.
Impact investing growth is fueled by a generational shift where individuals and organisations are now looking to generate a measurable, beneficial social and/or environmental impact alongside a financial return. The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), a New York-based NGO, records $230bn of such investments outstanding globally, with an average size of $3m.
“Our vision is a future where organisations use technology to report impact as effectively as financial performance. We see the launch of the impact investing solution as an important step in our vision” CEO of Socialsuite, Brad Gurrie said.
