The Outcomes Star for young people with complex needs including substance misuse
Author (s): Triangle Consulting Social Enterprise Limited, a group of Camden service providers including Forward (FWD), Alcohol Recovery Project (ARP) and Youth Offending Service (YOS). The development was funded through Camden Council Invest to Save, with additional testing by Aquarius.
The Teen Star™ was developed for use with young people specifically in substance misuse services although it can be used in other settings where young people have complex needs.

The PWI measures well-being with respect to Australia’s “normative range”, and is particularly useful at identifying groups of people whose well-being fall below the normative range and would therefore require additional support and resources. The PWI is applicable for case workers or frontline community organizations that provide services to a broad range of beneficiaries including the disadvantaged.
