Key Points:

VicHealth has released a suite of indicators to allow for trend analysis across the following topic areas:

  • Subjective wellbeing
  • Perceptions of safety
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Physical activity
  • Sedentary behaviour at work
  • Healthy eating
  • Alcohol

In our view, these indicators are applicable in measuring the impact of programs who deliver interventions which target the topic areas listed above.

Socialsuite can help get organisations up and running with data collection and reporting against these indicators.

Programs will be able to track their outcomes pre and post-intervention by measuring these indicators regularly to allow for trend analysis.

Additionally, Victorian-based programs will be able to benchmark against the VicHealth Indicators Survey, which runs every four years and measures community perceptions against these indicators both at an LGA and an aggregated State level.
