He is the Managing Director at Azuri Consulting, where he advises and supports clients along their sustainability journeys, including in complying with sustainability-related legislation (CSRD, SEC & CA Climate), conducting double materiality and climate-nature risk assessments, and disclosing in accordance with leading standards (IFRS S1-S2, SASB, TCFD; GRI; ESRS; SDGs). He is also the Chair of the Climate Smart Task Force for the City of Beacon and a Member of its Conservation Advisory Committee.

Based in New York City, Matthew works with over 70 GRI Community members, corporates, and service providers to promote transparency and accountability through resources like the GRI Professional Certification program and GRI Academy. With over a decade of experience in Sustainability and CSR, Matthew has collaborated with organizations like Disney, Warner Media, and Swarovski to develop and implement sustainability strategies.
